"I was lucky enough to be selected by Grand Designs Australia to have my house and build featured. It was a real honor. Now the build had to be Grand Designs Quality!! This added some additional pressure as I only wanted all the materials to be of a standard worthy of the show. Having spent over 30 years in the building industry you develop a list of people that you trust. When it came to the windows, doors and custom glass they all recommended the same company, AVS Windows and Doors. All the glass was commercial double glazed and mostly very large custom sizes. They were the only company that could design, build, supply and install the complete package. From the very first meeting I knew I was in safe hands. Their quality and attention to detail was without question. Many people kept telling me horror stories about other window suppliers, But AVS were amazing right from the start. And the custom glass work for this home was one of the key features of the build. They were also 30% cheaper than the next competitor. everything from the delivery schedule to the specialist crane to install the extremely large glass panels was taken care of. Not a single delay or problem. And as with most architecturally designed projects the sizes and scope can change and this house was no exception. but nothing was ever an issue. It was such a please to deal with the AVS team, they were defiantly one of the highlights for me.
